Tavia Hunt, wife of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, has heard all about how her team gets all the calls and she’s had enough. She pushed back on that narrative on social media earlier this week.
Is her opinion biased? It could be, but she’s taken a look at the stats and studied the film according to her statement on the matter.
In a post on Tavia’s Instagram story, where I’d argue these sorts of matters should be settled, she shared a clip of Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones being held in the end zone while Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins surveys the field for an open receiver. See the alleged missed call here.

Now, so far this season, the numbers, according to the NY Post, are more on Tavia and the Chiefs side.
The part of this whole back-and-forth over whether they get all the calls or not that is being lost is that some people don’t care what the numbers are. They enjoy getting the Chiefs fans all the way up to the wife of the owner of the team riled up by claiming that they get all the calls.
It’s really the little things in life that give people true joy.
