Following its 4-2 win over Croatia in Arlington, TX, on Wednesday, England had every reason to breathe a huge sigh of relief
While it didn’t win them a trophy, the win allowed the Three Lions to exorcise some demons from eight years ago, when the Croatians knocked England out of the tournament in the semifinals, denying them an opportunity to capture their first World Cup since 1966.
The players were certainly elated following the performance, but the fans may have been even more excited, as they took to the streets of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, partying into the wee hours of the morning.
The celebration eventually made its way to Billy Bob’s, the “world’s largest honky tonk,” located in the historic stockyards of Fort Worth.

And, if you know anything about Texans, they are always super welcoming, taking the Brits in with open arms and even playing their unofficial soccer theme song, “Three Lions (It’s Coming Home).”
I can’t think of anything more beautiful than a bunch of Texans opening their doors to English soccer fans and joining in their revelry.
I’ve been to Billy Bob’s several times in my life, and I can’t say I would have ever seen this coming.

Sure, Texans are very hospitable, but playing anything other than country music over the speakers is normally considered sacrilege in that establishment.
