NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said Friday on “Morning Joe” that New York banned formal civil immigration-enforcement agreements between local law enforcement and ICE because she wants officers focused on local crime, while a DHS spokesperson said in an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital that the restriction will force more federal agents into communities as 15 county sheriffs challenge the law in federal court.”When politicians bar local law enforcement from working with DHS, our law enforcement officers have to have a more visible presence so that we can find and apprehend…

For military families, a permanent change of station can mean more than adjusting to a new school. Government Accountability Office officials told Military Times that parents have repeatedly reported problems transferring educational records and individualized education programs when military families move, sometimes delaying services or leaving educators to reconstruct a child’s needs.A new GAO review found gaps at multiple stages of the Department of Defense Education Activity’s process for identifying and supporting students with specific learning disabilities, including screening, referrals, evaluations and instruction. GAO officials said those gaps can compound, affecting when students receive help and the quality of the…

Doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result is what some people call insanity. It’s also what Rory McIlroy did Friday.McIlroy was 2-under entering the third hole of the second round of the Tour Championship at East Lake when disaster struck. The two-time Masters champion was chipping uphill to the green, about 15 yards from the hole, and he didn’t give his chip enough power. He hit the uphill slope, and the ball bounced once before rolling straight back to his feet. McIlroy then took one quick practice swing and lined up his shot again.ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH.…

The center fielder for Canada’s Little Mountain Little League out of Vancouver asked what his dream job is, and his answer was used during a recent game against South Korea. Man, oh man, did the internet ever get hit in the proverbial feels…

James Brand has released its latest knife-based multitool, fleshing out a branch of their offerings that until now had consisted of a single model. The Helton takes the minimalist approach to deliver additional utility while still remaining lightweight and thin. Knife-based multitools, as a genre, are built really upon a single company, and that’s Victorinox (there used to be two companies working regularly in this space, but eventually Wegner was acquired by its competitor). When knife companies begin exploring the realm of the multitool, more often than not they follow in the footsteps of Leatherman and the plier-based MT concept.…
