A portable cyber system that fits in a backpack and can process drone images is currently being used for training by members of the Massachusetts Air National Guard. The Agile Cyber Training Environment, or ACTE, was designed by Senior Master Sgt. Taylor Gow. The project was accepted into the U.S. Air Force’s Spark Tank 2026 initiative. Spark Tank is an annual competition held by the service in which Air Force and U.S. Space Force personnel can pitch their innovations to senior leadership. Gow developed the system to allow airmen to conduct cyber warfare training on the go, rather than be confined…

In the collection of the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, is just one of two surviving Junkers Ju 88 airplanes that saw service during the Second World War. Displayed with its Romanian Air Force markings, it is a former long-range, photographic reconnaissance aircraft. It had previously been on display outside with German markings before being restored and repainted with the same insignia it was adorned with during the war. The other intact Ju 88 is now at the Royal Air Force Museum outside London. It was built as a model…

Two-time Olympic gold medalist and FIFA World Cup champion Carli Lloyd came to the defense of former U.S. men’s soccer star Alexi Lalas after critics called him out on social media over his political stances. Lloyd, a FOX Sports soccer analyst, responded to a trolling comment on X, in which Lalas was called a “fascist” and Lloyd was called his “sidekick.”  “Confront their views, don’t be an appeaser or history will see this as another #Argentina78,” the comment read in part, referencing the 1978 World Cup in Argentina, which was marred in controversy…

House and Senate members, along with prominent veterans’ organizations, hope 2026 will be the year Congress passes legislation to give 54,000 wounded veterans their military retirement pay and Veterans Affairs disability compensation — without one offsetting the other. In the past two weeks, veterans groups, including Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars, lobbied lawmakers for passage of the Major Richard Star Act, a bill that would allow medically retired U.S. military personnel to receive both their full retirement pay and VA disability compensation. While the legislation has been a major focus for advocates since 2020, concerns about the…

What if the situation arises where you need to shoot a target off-hand from a standing position over several hundred yards? Would you be able to do it? If it does, GunSpot has got you covered. What if you have to take a long-range shot off-hand and do not have a rest or cannot go prone? In the early 90s, Grant competed in the USMC shooting competitions and he used a couple techniques to be effective shooting off-hand over distance. We detail the stances and ways of holding a rifle to accomplish this in our video above. While a rifle like…

United States ruler Donald Trump claims that the U.S. can wage war “forever” with an “virtually unlimited” supply of weapons and ammunition.  Trump made the claim in a post to Truth Social on Monday. In the post, Trump dismissed concerns over the U.S.’s alleged limited munitions availability. Military analysts have claimed that the concern is over air defense missiles, and they claim it is a limiting factor in the ongoing U.S.-Israeli campaign aimed at toppling the Iranian government. “Wars can be fought ‘forever,’ and very successfully, using just these supplies (which are better than other countries’ finest arms!),” he wrote. The president…

The Springfield Armory Echelon is not one of the market’s best 9mm, polymer-frame, striker-fired handguns. It is the best. Springfield designed the Echelon from the ground up to create a handgun the shooting world needed — even if they didn’t know it at the time. I’ve been a big fan from the start, and I have extensive experience with both the full-size Echelon 4.5F and the compact Echelon 4.0C. I will state, with confidence, that Springfield Armory created a “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time) pistol. Springfield’s compensated Echelon lineup brings serious performance upgrades to an already outstanding platform. The ergonomic Adaptive…
