Following the release of the original Wilson Combat Division 77 Project 1, which represents some of the most advanced work that Wilson Combat has done when it comes to advanced pistol designs, the company is now offering a ‘Ghost Edition’ of Division Project 1 pistol. This new edition includes a silver-colored slide and a clear-anodized aluminum frame.

Call the Project 1 Wilson Combat’s response to the categorically popular double-stack 1911 trend. But, unlike most double-stack 1911 or 2011-style pistols on the market, the Division 77 Project 1 pistol takes a different approach and instead builds off the Wilson Combat’s EDC X9’s bones. Comparing the Project 1 to a Formula One racecar wouldn’t be unreasonable, as its design represents the cutting edge of Wilson’s current capabilities.  Regardless of finish, each of these guns are guaranteed to produce 1-inch groups at 25 yards.

This full-size, 5-inch-barrel pistol includes a built-in compensator to reduce muzzle flip. It also features a sophisticated optics mounting system which provides for a smooth experience shooting mounted red-dot optics. The Division 77 Project 1’s optics mounting system specifically works with the Shield Sights RMSc, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and Trijicon RMR optics footprints. Furthermore, the cover plate also integrates the gun’s firing pin stop and rear sight dovetails together. The idea is for this part to index consistently in order to preserve zero adjustment.
